SEA SALUTATIONS: YOGA FOR THE SALTY is a personalized yoga program designed for surfers, paddlers, and athletes alike to enhance their physical and mental performance through meditation, breath work, and mindful movement. A project created by E-RYT200 Cait Lawson, Sea Salutations is influenced by her formal yoga training and studies as well as her personal knowledge and experience with yoga and surfing. Growing up surfing her whole life, it wasn't until college that Cait discovered yoga and it's powerful mind-body benefits. Not only did she watch her physical, mental, and emotional bodies begin to heal and transform, she also saw the possibility of her surfing reaching a level she could have never imagined. Sea Salutations is currently in its beginning stages of creation and looking for athletes and other fitness/wellness professionals seeking to collaborate and contribute feedback and support.
